Sunday April 12th, 2026 This Sunday, April 12th, 2026 will mark a once in a lifetime collision of hard core rodeo action and high voltage live music at the very first Hondo Rodeo Fest. The Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana will play host to the world’s toughest and elite cowboys as they compete in Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie Down and Breakaway events.
Creed who have had two Diamond certified hits with “Higher” and “With Arms Wide Open” will team up with Bailey Zimmerman who is quickly changing the face of country music with his fast emerging hits “Rock and a Hard Place” and “Religiously”.
Live music, local talent, street performers, food vendors and shopping - and it’s all family-friendly. You can grab dinner and do some holiday shopping while you’re at it. MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR A SURPRISE SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE HONDO RODEO FEST Sunday April 12th, 2026 - Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA
Come experience the excitement of the Hondo Rodeo Fest, a three day festival where some of the toughest rodeo athletes in the world will compete, while enjoying great music by Creed and Bailey Zimmerman, and many other bands. Competitors will ride in all events of rodeo including: Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie Down and Breakaway.
The Hondo Rodeo Fest will tour a handful of cities, including Phoenix, AZ and now New Orleans, LA. Inside the Superdome, rodeo athletes will compete for prizes and points in the main arena, while fans can head to the Street Fest in Champions Square, right outside the Superdome, to enjoy a family friendly experience complete with food and drink vendors, merchandise shopping, brand activations and live local music.
If you are a fan of post-grunge rock music, then one of the biggest bands on the planet should be right up your alley. Creed, one of the most popular rock bands in the world, are coming to Tallahassee. Creed is an American rock band from Houston, Texas, formed in 1994. The band is known for their heavy, guitar-driven sound and the vocalist’s powerful post-grunge lyrics. Creed’s songs are perfect for live performance as they always play the crowd-pleasing anthem rock songs such as Higher, My Sacrifice, With Arms Wide Open, and One Last Breath.
Their last studio album, Full Circle, came out in 2009, which showed that Creed had progressed in their music while still staying true to the Creed sound that fans loved. The band’s huge success in the USA has sold over 53 million albums. The album, Human Clay, has even received a Diamond certification from the RIAA, which is one of the highest honors for a musician. Creed also received the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001 for the song, With Arms Wide Open. Creed also won the Rock Artist of the Year award at the Billboard Music Awards for three years in a row (1998, 1999 and 2000).
Bailey Zimmerman performs his country music. Our country music segment features Bailey Zimmerman a 23 year old singer from Hendersonville, Tennessee who is making waves in the music business with a new style of unapologetic songwriting. Hear Zimmerman sing his hit songs “Fall in Love,” “Rock and a Hard Place” and “Religiously” and learn about his music that is described as an unapologetic and emotional look at life through lyrics that can evoke strong emotions.
Zimmerman’s new album “Religiously. The Album”. is the most successful streaming country debut of all time. His songs blend traditional country with other genres and add a flair that sets him apart from other young country musicians. Zimmerman was nominated for a number of country music awards including the CMT Music Awards. Zimmerman toured with Morgan Wallen which brought Zimmerman has said helped him gain a huge following across the U.S. Zimmerman’s working class roots show through in his music and when he performs on stage the feeling is very real.
